On the set of “Little Bit of Love”: Adventures of Louanna Lee IV
Mr. Entertainment is a suitable nickname for Lee Doll, being involved in entertainment for over 50 years. On May 4, 2014, Lee was inducted in the Maryland Entertainment Hall of Fame.
Leel’s parents were involved in local theater productions so his introduction to dramatic presentations was at an early age. Lee began his life-long love of the stage at age eight. During his teen years, he made Super-8 movies with his friends. Then Lee was asked to try becoming a singer in a rock band. Thus began a change in direction over the next several decades.
Lee acted as front man for several classic rock bands. Along the way, he discovered he had a talent for songwriting. Collaborating with other musicians has culminated with Lee releasing three CDs of original material. He continues to write and perform.
Lee is the CEO of Neat Face Records, Inc. This independent record label has managed & promoted over a dozen artists and bands. The label has released vinyl, cassettes, CDs, and DVDs during the 30 years since its inception. These offerings are also available on digital outlets as MP3s.
Along the way, Lee Doll obtained his radio operators license and worked as an on-air DJ/Announcer. This led to him producing and hosting a series of television shows, “Showcase of Stars”, which featured local talent and provided him with experience in television production.
Acting in student films paved the way for larger scale productions. Lee has appeared in speaking roles and as an extra in independent and major motion pictures. He continues to seek out and accept acting assignments. He is also a Voice-Over Artist, performing on movie trailers, commercials, and educational films. He has even appeared as a model on a book cover!
He is currently the manager of pop-singer Louanna Lee, and is a hands-on manager. Actively guiding her career, Lee co-writes and co-produces her songs. Producing over 20 music videos for Louanna has emboldened Lee Doll to produce other projects.
